Option 1 -

Work with Sekou via Google Hangout (preferred) or Skype and clear up confusion about dance or dance concepts in general. Gain insight in regards to dance philosophy, history and evolution! Ask a question and discuss the nuances of Afro Latin dances and beyond. This is a perfect opportunity for up and coming performers/instructors that want to learn the business end of things.

Option 2 -

As a new director or performer, what better way to grow than to have a world renown performer and instructor give you constructive criticism and tips to help you improve your overall dancing and directing? ​​

This program is designed for the Performer/Choreographer/Studio Owner looking to advance their current level. Get an in-depth critical analysis of your dancing, choreography and / or studio performance.

​Option 3 - Choreography

Work with an internationally renowned choreographer, known globally in many circles of dance for choreographies that transport viewer into his world and imagination. Sekou's choreography resume is extensive from showcases, competitions, theater, music videos, film and television.

As a seasoned Director/Actor/Musician/Performer you will have access to the choreographic mind of today's quintessential artist of Afro Latin Dance. Have Sekou create a section of a work in progress or a whole unique piece for you!.

About Sekou...
A native Chicagoan now residing in New York City, Sekou is the forefront of a new movement in the Latin dance world. Sekou's unique style of Latin dance, rich with Afro-Caribbean essence and laced with many genres of dance, has earned him recognition world-wide. Sekou made his NYC Off-Broadway debut and international tour with Celia the Musical. He was an associate choreographer for the theatrical productions "Afro Tango" and the "Latin Nutcracker Review" and is the founder and artist director of SMc Dance Co., an internationally recognized Afro-Latin dance theater company.  ​

Sekou has performed and choreographed for top latin artist such as Gilberto Santa Rosa, Willie Colon, Cheo Feliciano, Johnny Pacheco, Tito Rojas, Tito Nieves, Jose El Canario Alberto, PitBull, r&b artist KEM, and the pop icon Madonna. In addition, Sekou has worked with the Radio City Rockettes, Bravo TV, Jennifer Lopez' new network NUVO TV and Good Morning America. 

Sekou has conducted Master Classes in New York, Chicago, LA, Seoul, Tokyo, San Diego, Seattle, Beijing, Singapore, Mumbai, Miami, Shanghai, Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Dallas, Houston, Quebec, San Antonio, Boston, Manchester, Warsaw, Mexico City, Puerto Rico, Rome, Paris, Istanbul, Monaco, Brussels and many other international hubs of dance.

Faculty Member: Alvin Ailey Extension, Joffrey Ballet School, Steps on Broadway, Peridance Capezio Center NYC, where Sekou has developed a curriculum for his trademark Contemporary Afro Latin Fusion Style. He also instructs at Broadway Dance Center.
